The Kitakata Green Hotel was originally established in the first year of the Meiji Period as an inn.
Since that time, we have remained in uninterrupted business thanks to the support of our guests and the local community.

About our acquisition of the Certificate of Fireproofing
This certificate was awarded to our hotel for maintaining the fire and disaster prevention standards established by the Fire and Disaster Management Agency for three consecutive years. We are committed every day to making our customers feel at ease during their valuable time with us.

The Kitakata Green Hotel is situated in an ideal location for both business and sightseeing, with numerous ramen shops, Izakaya restaurants, and Sake breweries located nearby.
While you can enjoy walks through the streets of Kitakata, we also lend our guests bicycles free of charge which you are encouraged to use.
Select Breakfasts
We prepare our breakfasts by hand every morning using only choice ingredients. Our three breakfast choices are the Japanese breakfast, Western breakfast, and our light meals.
Japanese breakfast
Our meals are served with 100% Aizu produced Koshihikari rice delivered directly from farm to table, and are accompanied with Miso soup, Nori seaweed, Umeboshi pickled plums, and Natto fermented soybeans in addition to five different Japanese entrees for each day of the week.

Feedback from our guests

The hotel offers a choice of single non-smoking rooms. The front staff and other staff are so polite and pleasant that I intend to use the hotel again. The hotel features a more Japanese esthetic, which is rare for a business hotel.
There are ramen shops, Izakaya restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. Shopping is convenient because there is a supermarket very close to the hotel. I picked up some Sake as a gift at the liquor store next door. There is also a day-trip hot spring just a 15 minute drive from the hotel called Kuranoyu which is a great place to relax with its outdoor bath. - Guest U: I really loved the Samue style room wear the hotel supplies! The material was very good and honestly I wish I could take it home with me (laughs). My stay was very comfortable.
The breakfast was quite filling and very good.
